What do I need to do for these iOS14 updates?

Facebook will need you to verify your domain. Verification of your domain establishes your account has the authority to configure and prioritize conversion events. We as your advertising partner cannot verify it on your behalf.

If you run Facebook ads with us and utilize our Facebook pixel for tracking, we'll need you to go into Facebook Business Manager and verify your domain. Domain verification establishes which Business Manager account has the authority to configure and prioritize the 8 available conversion events for a given domain. We as your advertising partner cannot verify your domain on your behalf.

So how do I officially verify my domain?

  1. Add Your Company's Domain in Your Facebook Business Manager

Read our instructions on how to add your domain to the Facebook Business Manager here.

  2. Verify & Confirm Your Domain
Domain verification should be prioritized for domains with Facebook pixels used by multiple businesses/ad accounts. It is required to edit event configurations if multiple pixels are set up on your domain but they’re not all owned by the same Business Manager account. If you are working directly with the Viqtory team on a campaign that is tracking user events on your website, you will need to verify your domain and edit your event configurations to continue using our Facebook pixel.

Read our instructions on how to verify and confirm your domain here.

  3. Identify the 8 Conversion Events for Aggregated Events Measurement
Aggregated Event Measurement limits each domain to just 8 conversion events that can be used for campaign optimization. Facebook will initially configure events pre-assigned by Facebook that it believes matter most to your business based on recent activity and campaign performance from all of the ad accounts advertising to that domain. We recommend that you identify the 8 conversion events most important to your critical business outcomes. *To track user events from the Viqtory campaign on your website, you will need to choose the Facebook pixel and event we have placed with your business directly as one of your top 8 options. Ad sets optimizing for a conversion event that is no longer available will be paused when Aggregated Event Measurement launches in early 2021.
